There is an increasing demand in the aircraft industry for early detection of corrosion in order to address the through-life issues of the aircraft. Corrosion leads to material losses and is often the precursor of fatigue cracking.
As a team we designed and implemented a Aircraft Corriosn Sensor which is used to sense the corrosion level at he surface of the Aircraft.
The project was on design and implementation of aircraft corrosion sensor.
