Monitoring the following in day to day operations
1) Production Planning
2) Operating parameters such as fuel ratio’s in KILN and PC, Pyro profile.
3) Raw mix requirements in order to maintain critical quality parameters such as LSF, A/F, with Pet Coke firing.
4) Raw mix and coal mix design based on minerology of the plant location
5) Optimising the fuel cost based on thermie values and also designing the raw mix in order to control raw mix cost.
6) Refractory management (Planning, procuring, and installations)
7) Responsible for the AF materials consumption in order to enhance the TSR as maximum as possible,up to 30%.
8) Operation of WHRS(Waste Heat Recovery System)

Responsible for the entire pyro and WHRS operations. In charge of Alternate fuels.
Responsible for the usage of Hazardus and non Hazardus materials, pharma liquids, bio mass and RDF.

Under the manufacturing excellency programme "VIJAYAM" I was the Leader for ENERGY CONSERVERS TEAM and also FUEL CONSERVERS TEAM.
Commissioning and operation of the plant.
This is one of the big plant in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Salient Feature of the Plant: 30,000 TPD . Plant consists 7 production lines
7th kiln capacity: 11000 TPD supplied by POLYSIUS
6th and 5th lines are 6500 TPD and
2,3,4 are 3000 TPD kilns. The Line 1 is wet process plant.
I was taking care of 5,6 and 7th lines as a Process Engineer.
All the production lines were supplied by POLYSIUS.
All the production lines are oil and gas fired.
Started the carrier as trainee
Lead the commissioning team for 6000 TPD cement plant located at Gulbarga. Pyro process plant supplied by FLS and Grinding plant supplied by THYSSENCRUPP (POLY COM).
Incharge for the Installation of 5200 MT of Refractory
Kiln capacity: 6000 TPD, with double string pre heater supplied by FLS, producing 7200 TPD as on today.
Raw Grinding: Roller press 2X250 TPH supplied by THYSSENCRUPP(POLYCOM)
Cement Grinding: COMBO system i.e. Roller Press + Ball mill ,2 X 250 TPH supplied by THYSSENCRUPP.
WHRS: 8.4 MW supplied by FLS
Lead the commissioning team for 3000 TPD. Pyro system supplied by LNVT at Mattam Palli and commissioned successfully.Plant Equipped with a VRM for rawmeal grinding (400 TPH) supplied by UBE,Japan. Cement mill of 80 TPH supplied by ALSTOM.
Synchronized the cement plant with Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS) of 8.4 MW and running at its capacity.
Joined a senior officer and promoted to Asst. Manager .I was a part of commissioning team for 4500 TPD plant. Plant was supplied by PSP -IKN, 6stage pre heater along with IKN cooler and a Raw mill with a capacity of 500 tph from Pieffier.
Working on a project for the production of RDF from MSW (Municipal Solid waste), estimated cost of the project will be 18-20 CR.INR.
worked under the manufacturing excellency programmes such as, VIJAYAM and UDAYAM. I was the leader for the following Teams.
