I attended Unitech Trainging Academy and obtained a Diploma in phlebotomy and EKG. I originally enrolled into the medical assistant program, I completed a few courses in that program as well.
As director of the learning academy My obligations was to remain in compliance with all of the state of Louisiana rules and guide lines, enrollment of students, collect payments, hire employees conduct background checks,record keeping of students and employee required documents, answer calls, take messages, fax forms and complete all required trainings.
Collect required patient information, connect patient to the heart monitor, monitor the patients rhythm and heart rate, print report, and notify the nurse of any findings.
